Our first love…
The Blue Blazer on Spittal Street, off Lothian Road and next to some of Edinburgh’s main theatres, offices, strip bars(!) and festival venues always guarantees a really warm friendly characterful and eclectic mix of regulars and new faces. James worked in the Blue Blazer for 12 years and this bar holds a special place in the hearts of owners James and Jacqui who met while James was the manager here and Jacqui at a neighbouring bar.

Manager Ross and his team are always on hand to offer help and advice on choosing a new favourite tipple!
The Blazer is a great pre and post theatre drop in, has a good after work buzz and an all night to late, late crowd at the weekends. The beers and spirits are all carefully and lovingly selected and we recommend you pop-in and have a chat with the bartender for a recommended pour.

Our pub near the Palace…

Kilderkin on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile is one of our biggest bars in terms of space. Popular with a mix of tourists, regulars and local Holyrood residents, the Kilderkin is a lively bar with regular Sports, Tuesday Pub Quizzes, Monthly Rum Club’s, Dewars Scotch Egg Club and annual Charity Events. The Kilderkin serves up a great menu with a mix of hearty Scottish favourites as well as rustic hand made pizzas.

Our oldest established Edinburgh bar…

Bennets Bar is an Edinburgh institution. Based on Home Street and established in 1839 Bennets pulls in regulars from all over the city who just wouldn’t feel at home anywhere else. Situated right next door to the Kings Theatre, the customer numbers tend to ebb and flow along with the theatre times, and with sister restaurant ‘La Petite Mort’ tucked through the back providing french inspired Scottish food it’s a great venue whatever you might be looking for.
If you’re popping in with friends, get in early to bag yourself the popular original snug.

Our ‘petite’ French Restaurant in the city…

La Petite Mort is Kilderkin Groups best kept secret.

This pretty, intimate and small but perfectly formed restaurant in the heart of Tollcross and Bruntsfield, is tucked behind Bennets Bar on Valleyfield Street. The restaurant interior has a modern take on a French, Art Deco style.

The French inspired bistro menu changes seasonally and is a celebration of Scotland’s best produce and suppliers. Enjoy the elegant and quirky dishes created by head chef Neil Connor in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
